Recipe: Island Special
Enhance your Young Island experience, and enjoy the resort’s signature cocktail: the Island Special. This rum-based drink is best paired with warm sunshine and spectacular views!

Ingredients
- 1 oz. dark rum
- 1 oz. Sunset Very Strong Rum (or substitute this SVG specialty with any white rum)
- 2 oz. passionfruit juice
- 2 oz. pineapple juice
- ½ oz. lime juice
- 2 shots Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes Grenadine syrup
- 1 pinch grated nutmeg
Directions
Mix all of the ingredients together. Serve over ice in a 13 oz. cocktail glass. Finally, garnish with a cherry and slice of lime. Cheers!
We loved Young Island on our honeymoon and it was even better when we went last year for our Daughter’s wedding and our 50 th anniversary. The staff are wonderful, so polite and willing to do anything for you. They organized both celebrations with delicious food and we all had so much fun.. All twenty one of us had a fabulous time. The surroundings are beautiful and the kids had a wonderful time in the pool and with the organized activities. Can’t wait to go back.
