10 Years of Vacation Memories

In her quest to find the ideal spot to vacation and dive in 2008, Dr. Klobia Carroll came across Young Island. She wished to find a place which was unpretentious, but had the comfort, service and cuisine of a fine resort. Klobia vacationed at Young Island and has since visited eight more times.

Three Generations, One Amazing Trip

In 2011, she introduced her only child, Dr. Larkspur Carroll, to Young Island. Then, in March 2018, the duo returned, and this time Klobia also brought her only grandchild, Aurea.

All three generations thoroughly enjoyed all that Young Island has to offer including the spa, pool, beach, snorkeling and scuba diving! They also experienced a trip to Fort Duvernette (pictured here).

The mother-daughter duo are both veterinarians. Klobia owns a thoroughbred horse farm in Maryland, and Lark owns one in Kentucky.

We were thrilled to welcome this delightful family to Young Island, and look forward to seeing them again soon for Klobia’s tenth visit!
